A new month means a new write.click.scrapbook gallery. This month’s challenge is to make a minibook.
I don’t really make minibooks anymore. So when I got this month’s theme, I wanted to do something purely for fun. Play with my stash and not worry. So I took some office tags and decided to make one for each color. I painted them all different colors and then decorated them so they had only shades of that color. I used white to accent as needed. I listed one word with each color, they were the first words that came to my mind when I thought of the color. The words are:
white – pure
yellow – fun
orange – happy
pink – sweet
red – love
green – nature
blue – peace
purple – elegant
brown – earth
black – dreams (as in night time, sleeping and dreaming)

quick question – when you painted them how did you stop them buckling, actually 2 questions did you use white or manilla tags – ooops no 3 questions, did you end up covering them completely with paper and bits or was the paint enough to mask the colour of the tags?
of course not!! please do. have fun! I painted them and they buckled a bit but when the paint dries you can move them back to flat. The tags were manila, not white. no paper, just paint 🙂 i did stitch a bunch which helps “un”buckle too 🙂 i hope you do it, and if you do, please come here and link up so I can see too ok??? 🙂 thank you!
