Here is one of my first Tim Holtz layouts. I know it doesn’t look like it since it’s a typical Karen layout but this page uses pretty much only Tim’s products. List below.
Journaling Reads:
Nathaniel I don’t think David or I will ever forget the first time you ever gave David a hug. He was playing by the couch and you just walked up to him and gave him a hug from the back and we were both shocked. But you kept hugging him all day long. I think it was one of David’s favorite days of all time. We will never forget it. We love you so much!

you did great Karen! you give Tim Holtz product a fresh new look rather than the grungy look and I love it! I buy his stuff but dunno how to incorporate it in my kids LO now you have shown me the light! great job! can’t wait to see more π
thank you. this was exactly what i hoped to achieve. thank you so so much!! π
simply awesome karen! love that music note paper, too.
What a gorgeous layout. I was wondering how you would use his products and I love the way you do. What a great memory and lovely pictures. It’s good you captured that moment.
I just wanted to stop by to say that I LOVE your scrapbooking style. I’m taking the Big Idea workshop at Big Picture Scrapbooking and I loved the things you shared there. So inspiring! I love how your style is clean, but still very playful and very creative with the way you use all the things you use. I will certainly be working some of your great ideas into my own pages. I’m way behind on my paper scraps, but you make composing a layout look so easy… so I’m refreshed and I feel ready to make some pages now! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with all of us. π
thank *you* so much for your amazingly kind words!! π
Fantastic Karen, I knew you would be able to put Tim Holtz products on your pages and still have that unique look that I love. I would love a hug from Nathaniel too, he is just so cute.
