Making: today’s five things is about what inspired me and in this season there are three people who have inspired me the most:

@thiswritingdesk whom I discovered last summer and has fully ignited the love of watercolor landscapes in me. She is an inspiring artist who holds your hand and makes you feel you can do it too but even more importantly she is kind and models the most amazing self compassion. I love every single thing she does and have recommended her to anyone and everyone who asked me where to start.

@willa.wanders who was new to me until I stumbled upon her “love your imperfect letters” class. I’ve been trying to work on my lettering forever and this was the first class that broke it down for me in both consumable and inspiring ways. I loved every minute of that class and continue to work on it. I then took her journals class which was amazing. She’s incredible at teaching, breaking things down, sharing so much of herself and her process. I can’t wait for the fodder school challenge next week.

@lizelayne whose work I knew from my OLW classes but whose classes I hadn’t taken until recently. Her classes feel like a warm drink and a hug every morning. It’s as if you have a friend who’s creating space for you in the world where you can be quiet and held. Soft and tender and an invitation to be here now.

I am so grateful to have discovered these amazing artists and how lucky am I that they are so generous and kind with their spirit.

If you have people or things that have inspired you please share here or dm me, I’d love to know.
