Ok I think this doesn’t even count as crafting but hey some weeks that’s all we do. This was the inspiration:
We improvised a bit and used pretzels for the mouth and M&Ms for the eyes. And then we used some cookie decorations we had for the nose and teeth and it ended up looking more like a green spongebob than a frog. So here it was.
Looks great I think and David enjoyed eating every piece of it.
It is art. Believe me, from experience with my kids, I have found that they remember moments that have been long forgotten by me, but that meant something to them. And for you and your family, this might be one of those moments. Looks great to me, we might try it with some pudding!
Monika is so right. Many times it is just these kind of fleeting moments that they remember and treasure. Truth is you never really know what is going to bless then unbelievably and what is going to stick, but this kind of thing is priceless.
Will have to see how I can interpret that for my three.
They are well past the spongebob stage.
Thanks for the inspiration yet again.
I’m with the others. All David will remember was that Mom helped him make jello and it was good!
