- Three Choices I made this week:
- One: I chose to go to work a lot today to get things back into routine. Three trips in one week.
- Two: I chose to make healthy salads+lunches for my kids all week! woohoo!
- Three: I chose to drive my kids to school, to be there for them on their first days, back to school nights, homework and more.
- I read/learned: I still reading Present over Perfect slowly and savoring it. I finished the whole Winner’s Curse series this week and listened to the September One Little Word presentation. Learned a bunch of math thanks to David’s homework this week!
- I celebrate: I celebrate our first full week of school. We survived it!
- I am grateful for: getting closer and closer to some routine. and surviving it!
- I focused on my health by:
- I’ve been doing a 1mile run, my 10K steps and my 7minute exercise daily still.
- Kids and I are still eating a mostly veggie and fruit diet lately.
- I need to do better with my diet. Adding more protein.
- I made art: didn’t do much art this week. I seem to be lost for ideas on what to do for October art. I’d love to hear if you have any ideas. I’m looking for some for November, too. December will be December Daily, of course. 🙂
- I let go of: I let go of worrying this week. I am just taking one moment at a time at this point!
- Core Desire Check-in:
- Kind: I’ve been kind to all the other parents at Nathaniel’s school this week. I did the volunteer sheets for the whole school and have been helping guide the room parents.
- Strong: I’ve been showing up, everywhere. Even when it’s hard. Even when I’d really rather be at home.
- True: I’ve been putting my priorities first. Being there for my kids, my husband, my family and getting a lot of sleep.
- Generous: I’ve been generous with my time. Not stressing too much about not having enough of it.
- Brave: I’ve been brave with all the new beginnings, changes at work, signing up for volunteer work at David’s new school.
Here’s to another good week! 🙂
