I haven’t decorated much of my house yet. I have been waiting for my mom because she will bring some things to put on the walls and I decided to leave everything empty until all the paintings get here. But my friend Katie posted some Christmas presents on her blog the other day and I couldn’t resist buying some for our house. I had to get this amazing wreath and I cannot tell you how beautiful it looks in person.

I have a thing for birds’ nests. I’ve always loved seeing others’ photos with nests in them and so when I saw this garland and the nest in the first photo, I didn’t even think. I bought them with love and adore them. The long tree in this photo was the only item that didn’t really turn out the way I’d hoped. It’s too tall. But I still have plans for it. I plan to get a wreath for it to sit in and I plan to dangle some beautiful things from it instead of using the candles. Let’s see how it turns out.

And I bought these little runners for the table. A little bit of color. Love them, too.

In the end, I am glad I got them all. They were each on sale for 60-70% off and they make me happy. What more can a girl ask for?

    Hi Karen,
Hope you are having a lovely weekend. I was looking through your digital downloads and loved the Cherish This Very Moment tag – when I downloaded it came up as Cherish Each Moment (no tag, more like a stamp – I’m not sure – digital is still very new to me). Don’t get me wrong, Cherish Each Moment is beautiful and I love it but I though you would like to know.

Speaking of beautiful stamps – I love all of yours and you are so generous to give them away. Are you still asking for requests? If you are may I suggest something along the lines of playful kids words. I have 2 boys (8 and 4) and millions of play photo’s. Words like – laugh, loud, dirt, noise, smelly, rough, mates (you get the idea) would be perfect for many of my photo’s.

Best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful and safe Christmas.

      Hi Lisa,

Thank you so much for telling me about that and I am so sorry. I fixed it. here’s a link to the post.

As for the words, do you mean them as brushes? Or just png files to put on top of photos? And just one word at a time or the cloud like one I made for “love” a while back? I would love to do this and want to make sure it’s exactly what you want.

Yes, I am still looking for ideas. So any any suggestions you have are great. Otherwise I’m going to have to stop doing them cause I am out of ideas.

    Hi Karen,
Just woke up (Aussie time zone and it’s already stinking hot). Thanks for asking for ideas, you’re great. I loved the Loved cloud – sounds funny but I’m sure you understand. I used Loved like I would a rub-on plus it was nice and easy for me to use (not a digi scrapper). I understand png files not brushes so much. With the words I was thinking one at a time – gives them more flexibility on the photo’s. The word dirt, dirty or muddy would look great in a cloud like you did for loved. The word laugh, mates or loud would look great on its own in a grungy text (remember I’ve got boys). Either look is great. I’m know it will look fantastic. I look forward to seeing them in the new year.

I love being able to jazz up a photo just a little bit before I print it. I used your Love is all there is overlay on a family photo for my mother-in-law for Christmas. I know she’ll cry when she receives it. Thanks for that. Once again thank you for your generosity.
