Here are my pages for day eleven.
I loved this fabric so I wanted to not cover it.

I have so many mixed feelings about this album. I love documenting our family but on one side I wish I were craftier, on the other side I wish it were plainer and more classic, and everything in between. Then I remind myself it’s about documenting. About being present. Everything else is icing. And documenting, we are.
Karen- I love how your album is turning out. I think it’s a great mix of “crafty” and “words+photos.” You should be glad you’re documenting. I’m doing mine all digi because I thought it would be quicker (and it is), but I’m still on Day 5! I’m getting discouraged, but it’s great to see so many who are keeping up.
Hi Karen, I love your album, it looks great. I am doing mine just as a Christmas memories album, putting in photos some days and not others, and will probably add to it next year as well – as I am not keeping up with the daily thing (and don’t want to stress about it!) I think anyone who keeps up with theirs daily is doing a fantasic job!
I think the album is perfect!
You know, last year I wasn’t happy with how my December Daily looked, and I just lost track of it and didn’t finish it. When I started putting this year’s book together, I found the first week of last year’s book, and I thought, “Wow. I LOVE this. It isn’t perfect “scrapbooking” wise, but it is perfect as a memory for my family.”. As a result, I decided to finish it off, and also make this year’s whatever I wanted it to be. So, you have have the right attitude– embrace it! Your kids won’t care years from now– they will be so happy for the memories and the photos. 🙂
