Happy December! I am already way behind but still delighted that December is here. And will continue to post ornaments for a while. I love them too much.
Here’s David opening his advent calendar. We have a cheap-o one Jake got from the pharmacy. It’s just the daily act of the little indulgence and having something to look forward to.

And Nathaniel is sitting there, observing us all the time. He’s such a joy, such a delight to have around. His giggles give us endless pleasure.

More to come tomorrow. I am supposed to be sleeping and have so much more to do.
Such insight on that layout, kids are gifts, aren’t they? This year we have three advent calendars, a cheap-o one with chocolate, a Playmobil one that was expensive, but worth it since Riley will get 24 Playmobil little toys and the homemade one which is my favorite – a Christmas tree cut out of green felt that I strung with tiny beads to look like lights and studded with 24 little magnets, the 24 corresponding magnets are on the backs of Christmas-themed little wooden shapes from Michael’s, so each day we put an ornament on the tree. I love all of them, but especially the home made one.
