I would for you to teach a time management class. 🙂
Today I have a super-fun giveaway for you!!
Art + Science of Scrapbooking, 16 brain-boosting challenges to strengthen your creative process taught by Stacy Julian and Jennifer Wilson
Here’s a little bit about this awesome class:
Are you a right-brained person who embraces possibility and spontaneity, thrives on imagination, relies on feelings, and thinks in symbols and images? Are you a left-brained person who practices strategy and order, finds comfort in facts, relies on logic, and thinks in words and language?
The answer to both questions is “yes!” In The Art + Science of Scrapbooking, a mind-bending workshop from Stacy Julian and Jennifer Wilson, you’ll learn to harness the creative power of both sides of your brain.
In four illuminating weeks, right-brainer Stacy Julian and left-brainer Jennifer Wilson will help you embrace your natural cognitive strengths. But they’ll also challenge themselves, each other, and YOU to find a new sense of balance and power as you explore the other side of your brain.
I am sure you know that a class with both Jennifer and Stacy will be nothing short of absolutely amazing. So if you’d like to have a spot in the class, just leave a comment with either a class you might like to have me teach or something fun that happened to you today. Or just say hi. Class starts tomorrow so I will announce a winner Friday morning to make sure you don’t miss anything.
This class sounds so cool! Thanks for the chance to win it! The highlight of my day was meeting and reconnecting with other moms at our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) open house.
Well, when I got home there was a letter from the university that my son attends. It stated that he was on the Dean’s Honour List and also had a large scholarship. Maybe not what one would call fun, but certainly special!
It was a bit of a challenging day. I had to go back and read the forgiveness post today because I made a mistake, I just couldn’t let go. It was healing to reread it today.
Your blog is always so inspiring! Thank you for sharing you art and stories and book selections!
Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this class! Seems so fun!
I was able to watch my daughter at gymnastics today, which I can’t do very often as I travel a ton for business.
Sounds like a fun class! Today we took a train from Paris, France to Zermatt, Switzerland! Thanks for a chance to win!
This class sounds very intriguing would love to take part. The meeting I organised for work went off without a hitch – so that was good, looking forward to watching my daughter ride her horse this afternoon.
I would for you to teach a time management class. 🙂
What a fab prize – thank you for the chance to win! It’s 6.31 am here and my day has just started, but the highlight is that I opened my email to find a photo of a gorgeous layout my sister (who is also my best friend) made about us & the physical distance between us & how many happy, happy memories we share from the times we have lived in the same country. (I miss you too, Line, every day.) If mine is the comment picked, I’d love to give her the spot in this class. 🙂
This is a very intriguing class! Hoping to win a spot. Thanks for the chance!
Hi Karen,
This sounds like such an interesting class. Thanks for the chance to win. A class I’d be interested in if you taught is journaling. I admire your gratitude art journal pages. I struggle with where to start. I don’t know how to do the art without ending up with ucky muddy pages or when enough is enough with the decorating/ drawing/stamping/stenciling. I also would like direction on the written journaling part. How to go deeper and get to the heart of my thoughts and feelings.
I would really love to see you teach a class about how to keep up with projects (planning, motivation, etc.) I really admire all the year long (or longer) projects you do on a weekly basis here on the blog. Thanks for the chance!
Here is a fun story from my day:
My daughter, Sarah, told us that in some countries it is illegal to name your baby “007”.
“Ah, yes,” I replied, “but 006 and 008 are still available.”
My son, Nathan, then piped up, “006 is Meryl Streep!” ??!! I have no idea what he was thinking but it caused the rest of us to break into giggles!
Thanks for the chance to win the class!
I took my two children to visit the two kittens we have adopted and will hopefully be able to bring home next week. Two rambunctious kittens + two rambunctious girls = good times.
Thanks for the chance to win! As someone who likes to analyze almost everything, this class sounds very interesting (I am very much in Jennifer’s camp).
I woke up this morning to rain! We have been battling drought conditions for a while so rain is such a blessing. My biggest scrapbooking challenge continues to be finding (or making time) and organization. Not being one to let those pesky challenges get in my way, I continue to scrap on! So I am not sure what classes I would look forward too. At this point I can’t get enough of Big Picture Classes. Some I participate in more than others-but love the inspiration all the same! Thanks for the opportunity. (PS I am actually already enrolled–can’t wait!)
Brain-boosting sounds like something that I need! Just kidding, but thank you for the opportunity to win a seat in this class! I’m a fan of both Jennifer & Stacy.
This class looks so interesting! Nothing exciting has happened yet today, but yesterday I had 2 friends have babies! Since yesterday was 9/11, the birth of 2 new beautiful girls brings renewed hope and joy.
I signed in to Big Picture Classes today to check out the latest idea in “Ideas Festival” and guess what I found? A layout by you with your 4 favourite movies which are… my top 4 movies as well!!!! In fact I have (following Stacy’s “idea”) recently pinned posters of those very movies on a Pinterest board.
For some reason this filled me with tremendous child-like glee and I *had* to let you know somehow! 🙂
Hi Karen, I Love that you have thought posts in your Blog again.
And thank you for offering a spot in this great class!
This looks like a really awesome class! I got to spend the majority of the day with my tennis team, playing matches, talking, and eating good food!
Thanks for the chance to win! I love the art you post. Today was a rainy day here, but it’s one day closer to Friday and that always makes me happy! I think this class would be awesome to participate in.
I think this class sounds really interesting. Nothing incredibly exciting happened today, but yesterday I had 2 friends have babies! Since it was 9/11, the birth of 2 beautiful baby girls renews hope and joy!
(This is the 2nd time I am posting this – for some reason the first one didn’t show up – I’m not trying to unfairly enter twice).
Loved your comments on the big picture festival! I think you upcoming BPC sounds great!
I just re-read the descript on this class today as it does sound so interesting…would love a chance to win. I have taken a couple of your previous classes and loved each one so delighted with anything you choose or lean towards.
Not sure if we can call this fun, but I am watching my mom’s puppy this week so for the last 2 days I haven’t gotten more than 2 hours of sleep consecutively for the last 2 nights… right now, I am the walking dead (tired)
Thx Karen
Smiles, Carole
I’m following you from an appearance on the Roundtable…. I would really love to win a seat in the left brain/right brain class… I’m totally right brained and could really use some of the strategy and organization that the left brain has to offer!!!
I have signed up for your Book of Stories class and I am so excited. I would love it if you had a class on daily sketching or gratitude journalling as I always love those posts. Today was a pretty standard Thursday but we did have Vietnamese food for dinner which is my favorite and something we don’t get to often on this side of the hill.
Hello Karen, I have heard you many times on the Paperclipping Round Table and thought I would check out your blog. I love your contributions to the PRT, and I look forward to browsing your blog.
Something I’m grateful for today…my girls woke up early and were bright-eyed! While one was making their lunches, the other was doing some extra studying for a math test today. Breakfast went by with no interventions and they were ready 15 minutes early. I know this won’t happen every day, but this morning’s routine was special and welcome and encouraging and will have me smiling all day.
I would love to take an art journalling class from you!
