This page so didn’t turn out how I anticipated. I had this cloth of fabric from a while ago and wanted to do something with it. Alas, not all pages turn out the way we hope.
The quote says: Begin living life today.
Here is one more shot of it:
Journey into Collage is a project for 2012. You can read more about it here.
Well I think it’s lovely!
Have faith in yourself! Your pages are awesome and your style is constantly evolving but always beautiful. Be more accepting of yourself and your talents – yes I know that’s easy for me to say but it’s true!
I love all the yummy colors and cute little people on here, it’s a fun happy page!!
Sorry it didn’t work out the way you wanted. The butterfly is pretty and looks great on the page.
I really love it!! I thought WOW that’s awesome when I first saw it, then I read your blurb, funny how were not often happy in our own work but others love it- we really do set to high expectations for ourselves! I just had the same, I really disliked something I did, and a friend loved it, she made me stand back and not judge it how I wanted it to have turned out, but to rather look at it As it was – And funny, when I gave up thinking what was wrong with it and looked at it as it was, well I fell in love with the piece I made! It’s a lovely college you did Karen, enjoy looking at it thru fresheyes. happy Creating. 🙂
I love it! So rich in color and activity!
Oh no, I really like this one. In fact it inspired me in sketching an idea for one of my pages in My Living Canvas journal. The fabric as the background is over the top, LOVE IDEA!!! Thanks for inspiring me this morning.
Just re-iterating what others have also said…this page may not have turned out how you envisioned it…but it is wonderful in my eyes! Love the bright colors, the butterflies, and the main message fits well with the fabric—especially for those of us living life with kids 🙂 Thanks for sharing with us, even if it wasn’t up to your standards…
