And the next page in the “collage” book:
I wanted to make a page that was more collage-y. I don’t think I succeeded. A bunch of tape, paper and rubons on this one. I wrote my journaling on the pink Studio Calico fabristrip but you can’t see it well on the photo.
So far, I can’t say this project is going as I had envisioned. But I know to give things time. More next week.
Journey into Collage is a project for 2012. You can read more about it here.
I think it’s collage-y! I like it! 🙂
I like this Karen, love that it’s pics of you!! It does look collage-y in Karen style. This is new for you so please don’t give it up. I’m going to send you an email later when kids are occupied and after I think more about this. Truth to be told I couldn’t wait to see your collage today and love it but think I know what your feeling because I do that with my own collages.
Have a good day!
I think it is coming out great!! I love the striped layout & the rub-ons. When I want to make things more collage-y I tend to look through magazines for inspiration & cut out things to add to the layout…it definitely gives it a collage feel!! Though, I think this page is absolutely adorable the way it is…
Your page is looking great. Your picture in it is beautiful. I love the soft colors you’ve used on this collage.
