So here’s the next set of Fabriano pages:
The full text reads: Look around, life is magnificent.
this page uses acrylics. I wanted to not do art today but decided to do something simple anyway.
And here’s the next page. I am now on to the cold press (rough) pages:
The full text reads: Rainy days are part of life, just like sunshine.
Another super-simple one. I used pan pastels on this page.
And here’s the next page:
The full text reads: It takes courage to say no.
I used pan pastels on this one. I wanted it to look like the hand was saying stop.
And here’s the next page:
The full text reads: You and only you determine your self-worth.
Uses Julie’s awesome face stencils again. The right eye is a bit creepy and it’s a mixture of pan pastels and acrylics.
Well here we go. That’s the four for this week. More coming next week.
I am creating multiple art journaling pages a week for now. You can read more about it and the book I am using for these pages at the top of this blog post.
wow…these are beautiful. Karen!
thank you Julia π
I love the first one! How beautiful. Love the lightness of the background and the pretty green grass!
I have been so inspired by your pages for months now, but my own little pages weren’t going anywhere–they were just painted and stamped, not much else. I didn’t get the “secret” on how to make things look the way I wanted them to! Then I stumbled upon some video tutorials from Christy Thomlinson yesterday. I feel prepared for some good artsy times now. π
Thanks again for being such a source of inspiration. π
thank you nicole. Christy’s the one who inspired me too! Isn’t she amazing??
These look so amazing, love seeing the different painting each week. Not sure I can pick a favorite though.
I love all your work and I was noticing each of these are individual pages, how do you keep them togther? ty
