So after the last muddy page, I realized I just like white. Not that this should be shocking considering my layouts but for some reason, I kept thinking when art journaling I need to cover all the background with color. Which then makes all the other colors not true since blue on a yellow background is not the same as blue on white. So now I decided to use white for my backgrounds. I love so much of this. The colors. The stitching. The lettering. All of it. I feel like maybe I am slowly finding my way.
I am creating multiple art journaling pages a week for July and August (and maybe longer). You can read more about it and the book I am using for these pages at the top of this blog post.
the red and white look so nice together. I gesso most of my pages, so I usually start with white. But then, start adding color to the whole page. I’ll have to try this out. {:-Deb
