This page was inspired by a scrapbook page I saw a long long time ago that I cannot find anymore. But all I did was just pinger paint colors. And that was it.
Here it is empty:
I took a ton of photos as I did each of the steps in this page, you can read all about it in an upcoming write.click.scrapbook. post.
This is one of the rare pages where I mostly embellished on the top.
here’s the left page:
And the right side:
And here’s the filled page:
I love the way it looks with all the colors. Happy page!
Weekly Art Journal is a weekly project for 2011. You can read more about it here. And you can find out more about the weeklong daily journaling here.
Once again a perfect page. Did you hand draw the top border or are they stamps or a mix. I wish I had the drive or energy to do this but I don’t so I will just enjoy yours until I find it.
it’s a mix of rubons and stamps. thank you 🙂
Karen, this is beautiful and so pretty. I have been thinking of doing a rainbow page in my journal and now I have to after seeing how cool yours came out. I love that you embellished each color and the butterfly is so pretty. What do you use for the writing part and to do your numbers in. I only have sharpies and they go thru the paper to the other side which isn’t good. Great job and great job keeping this up even though it takes time to do it.
I use the pitt pens but really it’s more about the paper. I use thick watercolor paper on this journal so a sharpie would’t go through either, can you glue two pages together first and then try?
Love the colours and design at the top, I am going to have to try this. Just beautiful!
so simple and quick, too! 🙂
I just love it. What fantastic pages! The colour combinations are great and I love what you did with the embellishments.
thank you 🙂 🙂
Karen…I love love love this! Beautiful 🙂
Love the colors across the top! So happy and lovely!
thank you 🙂 can’t wait to see your stencils, wish i didn’t have to wait so long!!
