I had the honor to guest design for My Creative Scrapbook kit club in March. This is the last of the layouts I made with their main kit.
Journaling Reads:
It’s hard for me to see photos of myself. I have too many issues to even list here. But this year I decided that we needed more photos of all four of us and I decided it was time for me to get over my issues so I could get in the photo more and capture all of us. It has been the best decision I made in a long long time. So I am making this page as a reminder that it’s about the joy and the laughter and the memories we are making together. I will never deny our family this again.
And some details:
I like all what you make, but I particularly love this page! It’s really really fantastic! The layout, the colors, the love and hapiness we can feel in it…
thank you so so much 🙂
This is absolutely beautiful, Karen!! I love how the black accents the page. And your journaling is so heartfelt.
This LO should hang on your wall… Absolutely stunning. Thoughtful, sweet, and a great reminder on the not so great days. I love it!
Your style is so amazing and unmistakably you. Impossible to copy without giving credit to you. I love your choice to be in more photos with your family. That is something that, regrettably, I did not and could not do when my children were young. Now I take the opportunity to be in the pics with my grandchildren.
it’s never ever too late! and you can be in photos with your grown up kids too!! 🙂
Amazing page! I love your long titles and the way you play with all the alphabet stickers.
