If you’ve been reading Karenika with any regularity, you’ve already noticed that I do a daily post each night that has these four components:
1. A random photo (might or might not be taken on that day
2. Photos + words of happenings around our house – my kids, hubby and me – from that day
3. Three things I’m grateful for that day
4. Three things my older son, David, is grateful for that day
While this takes a little bit of my time each night and I often worry that it scares away my blog readers, I love doing this project and it’s my version of Project 365+. So I decided to continue them for all of 2011. Depending on how the year turns out, I might or might not add some more to it. Maybe a feeling of thought of the day or something. Any ideas?
I love having a daily record of my life, even if it’s just a few words. And I’ve learned that I can stick to projects much better if they are frequent and consistent.
Here’s to hoping I can stick to it in 2011 as well.
I really enjoy your daily entries….I took your stories class and began following the blog…it is GREAT!
Good for you. Are you going to make the 2010 posts in to a book? I love my blog for memory keeping-
Yippee! My wish came true…the blog stays fairly intact.
Merry Christmas.
thanks for sharing this w/ us. i love your approach.
I also enjoy reading your daily entries and although I’ve only been reading for a short time I find them peaceful and calming as well as thought provoking.
Keep a good thing going! 🙂
I am not scared away by the format of your entries. I really enjoy reading what you’re up to, your projects, your demos, and seeing pictures of your adorable kids and just the honesty you share. It’s fun and inspiring. I hope you will keep it up for 2011. Wishing you all the best in this new year.
