Here are some more pages I did:
The full text reads: sometimes the only way out is through. be brave.
inspired by this photo.
And here’s the next page:
The full text reads: you are the director and star of your life. do not let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do.
Well here we go. More coming next week.
I am creating multiple art journaling pages a week for now. You can read more about this project here. This set uses the Fabriano Roma papers.
Hi Karen,
I really love this page! It’s so funny because it mirrors just what I was saying in my last post with a journal page.
Hi Karen,
You so inspire me! I have been enjoying your blog for a while now and readily recommend it to my friends. I have a question. Is there a ten step basic breakdown of how to do your style of art journaling? I have perused your site and understand the paper and journal you use. However, what’s the next step? Do you apply gesso? Do you stamp next? If you could give me a two word description of each step in the sequence you do them, I think I would be brave enough to begin.
Thank you so much for your beautiful writing and artwork. It has meant a lot to me.

Love these!! I especially love the Brave one!
Awesome! I had to smile when read about not letting other’s tell you what you can or cannot do…I love that. I need to remind myself of that sometimes.
