I love your drawings! The one that strikes me today is the style drawing. You have an amazing sense of color and design. I wonder if you allow yourself to be your canvas, what would you create there? Thank you for the inspiration you bring into my life.
interesting perspective! 🙂 i’ll have to think about it. thank you so much for your kind kind words 🙂
Sooo pretty! Makes me happy..! 🙂
I actually think you DO have a style. Whatever you’re most comfortable in should be the basis. I love the new clothes you’ve shown off here and I think you’re developing that unique style even more.
i hope you’re right 🙂
Very unique work. Just so relaxing and refreshing.
thanks so much!
I really like your drawings! You may have addressed this in an earlier post, but I am curious about what size they are. What a great daily chronicle!
thank you so much. they are about 4×4.50
Love your style and hand lettering! As far as having a brown thumb– most people kill plants from overwatering them. Figure out what kind of houseplant you have and how often it should be watered for the potting mix it is planted in. Most plants do not need watering more than 2-3x a week, every 2-3 days. Make sure to water thoroughly when you water, and let the plant dry out in between. Some plants like orchids should only be watered once a week at most. Don’t let the plants sit in water ever. Once you have had a houseplant for a year or so, it is time to repot. When the mix gets worn out, it will stay waterlogged and then the roots of the plants die.
see just reading that makes me tired and hopeless. i clearly should not have plants!
WOW these are gorgeous Karen!! That first one makes me hungry just looking at it. How do you come up with so many different sketches each week?? Hooray that you drew even while flying, that is awesome. Thank you for sharing these and making me smile.
Hope you had a good time on your trip.
These are superb! Love your beautiful writing too. They remind me a little of another blog I follow called Paris Breakfast. Have a look at her watercolours- I think you’ll like them too : http://www.parisbreakfasts.blogspot.com and her Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ParisBreakfast
Your sketches are beautiful. I get motivated to draw and have a sketchbook like that. What medium do you use to color and sketch your pictures?
