the best time to go back to carnegie mellon is carnival time. it's when all the alumni return and it's a weekend of fun, buggy and partying. the best part for me? getting to see my friend audrey.

the fipps conservatory in pittsbrugh is right by the carnegie mellon campus. it's a place i used to visit a lot when i attended the school and it always had a calming effect on me.

a great way to spend a rare day off. good friend. lots of sunshine. lots of trees and lots of animals. one of my favorite spots in central park.

housing works used book cafe
every monday morning, from ten to two, i volunteer at housing works used book cafe. a few weeks ago i decided to take some shots of this place which has come to be one of my favorite spots in nyc.

february weekend in boston
jake and i went to boston for the weekend to meet up with potential flower, cake, food people and photographers for the wedding. we got pictures from rockport, jamaica pond and andover. and we got geese pictures, too.

jake took my camera for a day and snapped pictures in the hagia sofia. i caught some at the grand bazaar and down by ortakoy.

we had a dalightful engagement party in istanbul, at my house, with jake's parents, siblings and my entire family. most of these shots might be boring to you but they are valuable to me.

flowers sent for our engagement
tons of my mother's friends sent us flowers when they heard that we got engaged. i mean tons. so we wanted to take pictures of the flowers to remember how nice people were.
