early march, i convinced my husband to take a one-night-trip to washington dc so we could hear his mother testify before the senate. they wouldn't let us take photos in the testimony room, which disappointed me thoroughly. after the testimony we walked over to kerry's office so my mother in law and my brother in law could talk to them. as they chatted, i started to take photos. i walked up and down the corridors and saw that the two mass senators had offices facing each other.
