Not a.lot of joys today. So tired of sitting in this room alone. Another walk, some exercise and light and fluffy tv shows are all I got today.  Daily Joys – 24

Missing outside world today and having a bit of trouble accessing joy. Grateful my family is still safe. Can’t wait to see that negative test.  Daily Joys – 22
I spent the day reading. It never stops bringing me joy. So grateful for good books and so grateful for writers.  Daily Joys – 21 Not a lot of cold drinks when one is stuck in the bedroom all week. Really joyful to have a cold soda. Also joyful to get 12 minutes of sunshine today as I drove to get the test done. The things we take for granted and don’t appreciate until they’re gone. Today’s joy is not related to this photo. My older son got his grades today and it was such a joy to read all the nice things the teachers wrote about him. I am so grateful.  Daily Joys – 17
Well it’s going to be hard to find the joy in this one. I’m grateful the kids are safe and grateful that I have access to so much. Focusing on the really small joys today like the taste of coke zero and the really big joys like the love of my people. Here we go. |
