And I worried you would be a Sad Little Boy

Journaling Reads:
I’ve always been a sad little girl hanging on my mom’s skirt. Shy, worried and easy to cry. So when I had my boys, I worried that like me they’s be sad and scared. But my lucky move was that I married the world’s happiest and sweetest man. And thanks to him my boys turned out to be happy. Even the little one who looks like me. You, my boy. You are one happy child.

You are Everything to Me

When I got the news that I made it to Tim Holtz’s team, I didn’t want to wait until my goodies got here. I had this idea of a white on white layout, this amazing photo of my husband and a lot of Tim Holtz goodies I’d already been hoarding so I sat to put it all together.

This is a perfect example of a layout where there’s a generic photo coupled with a story I wanted to tell. It’s something I was able to put together thanks to my Book of Stories. You can still sign up for the workshop for a few more days.

Journaling Reads:
Maybe it should come as a surprise to me that after sixteen years, looking at this photo still makes my heart flutter, but it does. I am still as in love with you as I was when I first fell for you. Actually, no, it’s so much more now. You’ve given me so many gifts: your patience, understanding, and support. So many adventures together. Laughter and courage. Not to mention our amazing kids. I love you more and more every single day.

Even Your Walk has so much Personality

Here is another Tim Holtz layout.

Journaling Reads:
I think many parents would like to think that they have a strong hand in the personality of their children. But I think kids are born with so much of their personality. While I’d like to take credit for how sweet, kind, and funny you are I know you just came to us with all that. Your walk, your stance, your tone has so much personality even before you can speak. I love you madly.

The First Day You Gave a Hug

Here is one of my first Tim Holtz layouts. I know it doesn’t look like it since it’s a typical Karen layout but this page uses pretty much only Tim’s products. List below.

Journaling Reads:
Nathaniel I don’t think David or I will ever forget the first time you ever gave David a hug. He was playing by the couch and you just walked up to him and gave him a hug from the back and we were both shocked. But you kept hugging him all day long. I think it was one of David’s favorite days of all time. We will never forget it. We love you so much!
