3.5 kept my interest. twisty and i’ll be honest i did not guess it!
Really really enjoyed this very long but also very interesting novel. Had some really interesting and unexpected twists. I had never heard of this book, not sure how i found it but it’s excellent!
3.5 stars. Quick engrossing read. Not much substance that sticks but still enjoyed it a lot. Loved the idea of the dreamland setting too 🙂

I enjoyed reading this YA novel. I don’t read much YA anymore but this one was lovely. Real issues, relatively realistic dialogue.
i love Ali Hazelwood. She’s just fun. I don’t care that they are always similar. I enjoy them.

I read this book to see if I liked Pittard’s writing and wanted to read another book by her. I also thought, of course, that the story was crazy and wanted to know more. It’s interesting that all 4 of them are writers and both of them wrote a book about it. Her writing is sharp and stays with you.
Regardless of whether you’re an engineering manager, or any kind of manager (in our outside of tech) you will find this book to be valuable. It’s grounded in knowing who you are, caring about your team and creating a meaningful dynamic. There are so many small and big things you can take away from this book if you’re a first time manager or a really seasoned one. Highly recommended. |
