We watched the sun set over the beach today and saw fireworks! ( He saw a porpoise too but not me!) And then walked around the city. It was night full of joy.

I spent the day reading. It never stops bringing me joy. So grateful for good books and so grateful for writers.  Daily Joys – 21 Not a lot of cold drinks when one is stuck in the bedroom all week. Really joyful to have a cold soda. Also joyful to get 12 minutes of sunshine today as I drove to get the test done. The things we take for granted and don’t appreciate until they’re gone. Today’s joy is not related to this photo. My older son got his grades today and it was such a joy to read all the nice things the teachers wrote about him. I am so grateful. |
