Weekly Intention: This week is going to be insane. I have a lot of work to do and I have to make 4 trips to the kids’ school, two during daytime and two at night. I also have a wedding to go to on Sunday. This is enough to possibly push me over the edge. So my goal this week is to be super on top of things during the day since I won’t have nights to be able to focus and work or even rest. To eat extra well so I can feel strong and to rest as much as possible.
This month’s intention is: Emotionally Strong: This is the time to work on being a better version of you. And loving you. Loving what is. Respond and don’t react. Journal more. Love this. I was looking for a 100-day project and I think it will be journaling! Even if it’s a few minutes a day. Love it.
One way I will stretch this week: managing my time and organizing all the things i have going on will stretch me a lot this week.
One boundary I will set this week: i will protect my time a lot this week, especially since i will have little of it.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: my sons. especially nathaniel who has been getting less attention.
One new thing I will learn this week: summit planning baby!
One area where I will go deeper this week: planning for 2019.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with the discomfort of a lot of moving parts at the moment. have faith that it’s all going to come together.
I am looking forward to: spring break which is a week away.
This week’s challenges: just all the evenings, i dislike being committed at night.

Weekly Intention: This also promises to be a reasonably quiet week. My intention this week is to get some of our summer under control and to plan the rest of spring break and button up david’s application. These are all things i’ve been postponing in one way or another but they are weighing me down so i will be glad to get them done. I also want to really try to not work in the evenings this week. I want to spend time with both kids, go back to preparing healthy food. If I can do these things I’ll feel really, really good about my week.
This month’s intention is: Party Strong: This month is for celebrating. You’ve worked hard, they’ve worked hard. Everyone’s working hard. Make sure to pause and celebrate. Have a party. Take a moment daily and pat yourself in the back. Pat your loved ones in the back, too. Hmm well we haven’t done any partying. Maybe I can declare this Friday a celebration day for our family. I will certainly be celebrating the end of March.
One way I will stretch this week: I will be driving a new car around all week which is going to be hard for me.
One boundary I will set this week: i will protect my evenings this week as well, mostly to sit with all my boys.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: my family by taking care of all the summer plans.
One new thing I will learn this week: more physics i hope!
One area where I will go deeper this week: i will be organizing two summits.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with the discomfort of closing out our plans for the summer, booking places, and just getting it done.
I am looking forward to: being done with all these plans that have been weighing on me. can i get it done?
This week’s challenges: besides what i mentioned above, it’s organizing all my learnings from the last month.

- Personal: keep body pumping, buy tix for boston, buy tix for europe, close and submit essays and finish out the app, and for the love of the universe please figure out the food.

Weekly Intention: It looks like this is going to be a quiet week, too, so my hope is to also stay on track each day, make a bit of progress on some of the work I do have piling up and then spend time with the kids. David travels to NYC this week with his school so I want to make sure to spend time with him until he leaves and then focus a bit extra on Nathaniel while it’s just the three of us. I also want to work on journaling or finding a way to reduce some of the anxiety I’ve been feeling.

This week, I will focus on pleasing: myself so i can get back to being a bit more level.
One new thing I will learn this week: how to distill a lot of data and comments into a comprehensible document.
One area where I will go deeper this week: making a product roadmap still working on this.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with the anxiety which will be hard with the new car and david traveling.
I am looking forward to: my new car i think even though i’m anxious.
This week’s challenges: i need to finish some of the work i’ve been working on so i can feel like i made progress.

I have a lot of work meetings but no super late nights and no obligations that I can see until next Sunday when it’s the school’s STEM Fair. So this week’s intention is: let’s stay on track each day, so that I don’t accumulate work into the weekend like I did last week. Let’s spend the nights with the kids and with Jake. Let’s enjoy the week.

One way I will stretch this week: I will see what it takes to keep on schedule. It’s going to be hard.

Weekly Intention: Jake’s back and I have a long week of meetings this week. Thankfully, no evening activities. I have follow up from the accident last week and otherwise I expect to be fully focused at work and on my family. My intention for this week is to move on. To do the mourning I need to do and then allow myself to forgive myself and focus on what matters most again.
This month’s intention is: Party Strong: This month is for celebrating. You’ve worked hard, they’ve worked hard. Everyone’s working hard. Make sure to pause and celebrate. Have a party. Take a moment daily and pat yourself in the back. Pat your loved ones in the back, too. Interesting timing for this one. I’ll see what I can do here. March is usually a tough month for me and I didn’t start on the very best foot, so maybe taking a moment to celebrate is a good thing.
One way I will stretch this week: honestly with more meetings at work, trying to learn my job.
One boundary I will set this week: between me and myself this week on how much I will allow last week to impact me.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: my wonderful husband. he so deserves it.
One new thing I will learn this week: i am taking an AP Physics course with David and i am going to say this still counts.
One area where I will go deeper this week: identifying some focus areas for work.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with how i am feeling and how to heal.
I am looking forward to: having jake back at home.

Weekly Intention: Everyone goes back to school and work this week. My manager is out of town so all of my week will be getting focused and caught up to speed on my new work and getting ahead in my old job so I can make sure to give him more time when he’s back. Jake will be gone most of this week and I will have to juggle work and pickup/drop off which I know will be tough. I also have to go to the kids’ school twice this week. Personally, my intention is to spend a bit extra time resting and a beat longer which each kid to make sure I am not rushing through this week. At work, I want to also get organized a bit.
This month’s intention is: Physically Strong: This is your month. Get out there and get strong. Increase the weights. Add more cardio. Make a plan. You can do this. You have it in you. Still working on the yoga. Will think about my March plans this week.
One way I will stretch this week: i will be starting to make decisions and that will require stretching (at work.)
One boundary I will set this week: i will have to be clear with my work/home boundaries this week as I will be mostly an only-parent this week.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: hmm i think this week will be dedicated to Jake as I give him the room to go on his business trips.
One new thing I will learn this week: i am taking an AP Physics course with David which is kicking my …. since I know nothing.
One area where I will go deeper this week: i guess i will dive deeper in the product roadmap this week, too.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with understanding my job better, diving deeper and carving some solid work for myself.
I am looking forward to: feeling a bit more at home here. i know it will take some time.
This week’s challenges: balancing work and home this week without jake.

Weekly Intention: This week is a bit of a mix. Monday is a national holiday so I will be grateful to have the extra day to relax. Tuesday and Wednesday will be long work days for me and the kids will be home with Jake since it’s Winter Break for them. On Thursday, I will work half a day and then we will see if we can sneak a mini-vacation the rest of the week. (Hopefully!) My intention for this week is to be very productive when at work. And then to really be present with my family. I want to rest a lot, play a lot and live the moments of my life.
This month’s intention is: Physically Strong: This is your month. Get out there and get strong. Increase the weights. Add more cardio. Make a plan. You can do this. You have it in you. I will say that it worked out to be a poor choice to have this for February. I will not be able to go to the gym at all this month due to my travel, jake’s travel and holidays. I will have to swap this for March and do both of my intentions then. In the meantime I am still honoring this by doing daily yoga at least.
One way I will stretch this week: i’m going to have to say that my new role will be stretching me for the next few weeks/months.
One boundary I will set this week: i will make sure more and more people know about my new role. this will help me be successful and set more boundaries.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: while i will continue to focus on my new team for a while, this week i will also spend solid energy on my boys while I am away
One new thing I will learn this week: i am going to try to learn a little bit more about each person.
One area where I will go deeper this week: one specific thing this week is a product roadmap.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with the discomfort of being the new person, not knowing enough, not being able to help enough yet, etc.
I am looking forward to: learning, growing, being helpful. i am really looking forward to this new role.

Weekly Intention: This is a big week. Some changes in my work life will be announced today and I am both looking forward to it and of course a bit apprehensive. It will change my schedule and so much of what i do day to day. This will require lots of adjustment. I am looking forward to it but also scared of course. My intention this week is to give a lot of focus to this change and really show up at work.
This month’s intention is: Physically Strong: This is your month. Get out there and get strong. Increase the weights. Add more cardio. Make a plan. You can do this. You have it in you. I plan to keep going with the yoga and add 5-10lbs to my weights.

Weekly Intention: I will spend part of this week in Sydney working still and then I fly back home on Thursday morning in time for David’s birthday. I intend to go pick him up from school and have a 1-1 day together. Friday my inlaws come and that weekend I have to be at the kids’ school all day for an event and then the next day we celebrate David’s birthday. So it will be a full-to-the-brim week. My intention is to do enough work while I am here that I can feel solid about my trip and then to really focus on my son when I am back.
This month’s intention is: Physically Strong: This is your month. Get out there and get strong. Increase the weights. Add more cardio. Make a plan. You can do this. You have it in you. For now, I’ve taken this to encourage myself to start daily Yoga but I also hope to increase the weights when I am back home.

Weekly Intention: This week, I leave for Sydney on Wednesday evening. I am sad to leave my family as I am each time and I am excited to see my peers there, as I am each time. This time I get to have a weekend there alone so I am trying to make sure I have some plans to make the weekend worthwhile since I really dislike spending weekends away from my family. So I plan to read a lot, rest a lot, go to the beach and smell the beautiful sea. I plan to walk, I plan to have coffee, I plan to fill my soul all the way up. My intention this week as it always is when in Sydney is to work like mad, connect with the people there, make the trip really, really worthwhile so I get back on the plane completely empty and feel like it was completely worth it.
This month’s intention is: Strong Silent Type: Your challenge this month is to speak less, listen more. How can you influence with fewer words. At work, at home, even in your own head. Pause one more beat before replying. Mute the VC. Wait six seconds. Do what it takes to give this a try. Have been practicing this. February is also this week and its intention is: Physically Strong: This is your month. Get out there and get strong. Increase the weights. Add more cardio. Make a plan. You can do this. You have it in you. I will be starting the month away but when I get back my intention is to increase the weights in Body Pump and at home. While in Sydney, I plan to start Yoga and also maybe I can increase the cardio to 15 mins, we’ll see.
One way I will stretch this week: I’m going to be learning as much as I can this week.
One boundary I will set this week: I am planning to send an email quitting one of my obligations this week if things work out.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: i suck. nathaniel still didn’t really get a turn.
One new thing I will learn this week: i totally didn’t do either of the things I said i would in the last two weeks. i will only commit to learning more about my work this week.
One area where I will go deeper this week: depth this week will be some solid journaling in Sydney.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with some of the changes i agreed to. sit with the discomfort of the unknown. sit with the fear and anxiety and have faith it will turn out okay.
I am looking forward to: the flight. while it’s crazy long, i always seem to enjoy it.

Weekly Intention: This is a short week for the kids but a normal week for us. As it always is, the first part of the week will be tough and the second part a bit lighter. I have some pampering and some health scheduled. I am going for mani/pedi and to the dentist. We also have parent conferences. So it’s a full week. It’s also my last full week before I leave for Sydney the following mid-week. So I want to make sure to kiss/hug/be with my wonderful family extra hard this week. The intention this week is to love them harder.
This month’s intention is: Strong Silent Type: Your challenge this month is to speak less, listen more. How can you influence with fewer words. At work, at home, even in your own head. Pause one more beat before replying. Mute the VC. Wait six seconds. Do what it takes to give this a try. I think this is a perfect way to start the year. There is a lot I have to get done this month and I like the challenge of learning how to do it more quietly. Can I influence with fewer words?
One way I will stretch this week: I will have some interesting discussions at work on Monday which will require me to broaden my thinking and perspective.
One boundary I will set this week: This week I’ll be guarding family time, especially since I will be away.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: alas Nathaniel didn’t get his turn last week so we’ll give it one more shot.
One new thing I will learn this week: Hmm i didn’t do the hand roller learning either 🙁 but i think what i want to learn this week about is chocolate actually. as i ease off the whole 30 in two weeks i want to see what chocolate i can eat that will be best for insulin moderation.
One area where I will go deeper this week: i did some of the process work last week but i am so not done. Depth this week might come from a work meeting I have on monday. And if not, I think it might be a bit about planning life after January. Art, nutrition, exercise, points, plans, schedule in February.
What do I need to sit with this week? i need to sit with the truth that whole30 doesn’t seem to have been super impactful on me. still tired. better on cravings but really not feeling the energy boost. so what do i do now?
I am looking forward to: my mani/pedi, just because it will be a nice, quiet time.

Weekly Intention: This is a short week. Only four days of work and two of those are lighter. I have a really long and tough Wednesday but otherwise it’s not terrible. My intention this week is to try to soften into the week. Be just a little bit kinder, be just a little bit calmer, not to jump in or interrupt. Also calmer and more patient with my folk at home and with myself, too.

One way I will stretch this week: My new client ended up being this week. Let’s see how I can stretch.
One boundary I will set this week: Since it’s a short week, it’s going to be easy for my bedtime to get sacrificed this week, so I will guard it heavily. Same with journaling.
This week, I will focus on pleasing: Maybe it’s Nathaniel’s turn this week, I’d like to spend a bit of extra time with him.
One new thing I will learn this week: I want to learn a bit about how to use the hand-roller this week. I tried to use it this past weekend and didn’t know how to do it right.
One area where I will go deeper this week: I did try working on the hint waters and the pineapple one is amazing! I’ve also had watermelon which is okay. This week’s depth will be getting all the process started for 2018. I’ve been putting it off (at work) and it’s time.
What do I need to sit with this week? I need to sit with all the not-enough feelings I have when it comes to my body and exercise and getting stronger. I have so many beliefs around all this. that I am not strong enough. that i am uncoordinated. that i can’t learn certain things. that i will never be able to do certain things. I need to sit with all of this and remember that they will be the exact reason why I don’t succeed.
I am looking forward to: seeing my friend jess this week, it’s been way way too long since we saw each other.
This week’s challenges: The biggest challenge will be the very long Wednesday. Also getting all the organizational work started. It’s always a lot of work up front.

This week, I want to remember: that I have a way of blowing things off proportion. always over-worrying. and thankfully, things, almost always, work out ok.
