having had many empires travel through it and inhibit it, turkey is full of ruins. this is one left over from the roman empire.
from this picture, i can imagine the power and regal nature that emanated from this building at its apex in time. the colors in this shot are lovely.
Absolutely beautiful shot. The ruggedness of the ruins are such a sharp contrast to the new life underscored by the greenery that has sprung up around the building.
It always amazes me how they built into the side of rock like that. Im a history buff anyway so Im really attracted to this photo. Nice one Karen
