  jake and I went to little italy on sunday to study for his exam, in a little cafe. this girl looked at us for long enough that i snapped a whole bunch of shots. right after this one, she burst into tears, but kept staring at us. by the time we left, she was smiling again.

  yep, she has these huge, amazing eyes. i also love how little kids are slighly cross-eyed for a while, it always makes me smile 🙂

  Karen — want a great shot! I’m in NYC — the rain just started coming DOWN! Right after I bought a new Nikon D70 🙂 — figures — you either wash your car or buy a new camera and it rains!

  I love the detail in her hair — and you managed to keep the exposure just right for her face… these are my favorite kinds of photos…
