Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo, Japan

More fishies. By this time, I'm begging Jake to leave. I don't think I'll ever eat fish again.

Just in case you thought the fish market had nothing to offer to vegetarians, I thought it important to take a snapshot of the vegetable stands.

Just across the street from the market is a collection of miniscule sushi restaurants. The whole lot of us squish into this place and everyone, except for me, orders fresh sushi. By now it's 5:30 and I am grossed out beyond belief. Jake orders this shrimp which is so alive that even after he bites into it, the tail jumps around the table on its own. Ugh.

After breakfast, we all take the subway back. Jake goes home to take a nap while the rest of us start what will be a really long day at work.
