Kamakura, Japan
During the six months I spent in Japan, I never got a chance go see Kyoto. I did, however, manage to squeeze in a visit to Kamakura. Even though the weather was miserable and rainy, I'm really glad I got the chance to see this little town. Kamakura is famous for its temples. I can't even remember the name of this one but you can catch a glimpse of how pretty they are and the crappy day we had. Right next to the temple, sat this statuette that looks like a tombstone though I'm not exactly sure what it is. I do remember thinking it was funny the way they dressed the sculptures up. This is the Japanese stone garden behind another temple. |
